Firas Dabbous has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Firas started their career as a Controls/Software Engineer at Spectrum Engineering Solutions Inc in 2005. From 2007 to 2009, they worked as a Research Assistant at the Maine Center for Business and Economic Research. Following that, they joined Takeda Pharmaceuticals North America, Inc as a Research Fellow in GHEOR for a year. In 2010, they transitioned to the University of Illinois at Chicago and served as a Research Assistant until 2016. Firas then took on the role of Manager, Patient Center for Outcomes Research (PCOR) at Advocate Health Care for two years before joining AbbVie as an Associate Director in HEOR in 2018. In 2019, they became a Senior Consultant at Creativ-Ceutical until 2021 when they landed a position as a Research Scientist at Evidera. In 2023, Firas transitioned to the role of Director-Senior Research Scientist at Evidera.
Firas Dabbous began their education at Beirut Arab University from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. Firas then pursued their academic goals and earned a Master of Science degree in Statistics from the University of Southern Maine, studying there from 2007 to 2009. Firas continued their educational journey by enrolling in the University of Illinois Chicago, where they completed their Ph.D. in Epidemiology from 2010 to 2015.
