Christian Schulz began their work experience in 2010 as a Control Engineer for The Lubrizol Corporation. During this role, they worked on running engine test cells and troubleshooting electrical/electronic equipment. Christian also designed and implemented an improved blend vessel control system using digital controllers.

In 2012, Schulz joined Rolls-Royce as a Graduate Electronics Engineer before taking on the role of Technical Assistant in 2014. From 2015 to 2020, they worked as a Hardware Project Focal, overseeing the development of Electronic Engine Controllers for a corporate jet application.

In 2020, Schulz transitioned to the position of Senior Principal Engineer - Engineering for Services at Rolls-Royce. In this role, they were responsible for managing in-service safety investigations and ensuring compliance with airworthiness requirements. Christian presented at safety review boards and worked on integrating safety investigations across different fleets.

Schulz took a career break from November 2021 to March 2022 before joining Evolito Ltd in March 2022 as a Hardware Team Lead - Controller.

Christian Schulz obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng.) with a Diploma in Industrial Studies in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from Loughborough University from 2008 to 2012. In addition, they obtained the Level 1 National Award in Skills for Presentations from EDI PLC in September 2013 and a Mount Kilimanjaro climbing certificate from Kilimanjaro National Park in August 2013.
