Aruna Subramanyan has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources. Aruna is currently the Head of Human Resources for India and Bangladesh at Evonik since 2022. Before that, they worked at Bayer from 2020 to 2022, where they were part of the HR Solutions team and responsible for talent management, learning, and leadership development in South Asia. Prior to Bayer, Aruna was with Monsanto Company from 2017 to 2019 as the Lead for Talent Management and Organizational Development in Asia Africa. Aruna also worked at Novartis as the Head of Talent and Leadership Development and Diversity and Inclusion for the Indian market from 2015 to 2017. Aruna's previous experiences include roles at Cipla, Citibank India, Citi, Shinsei Asset Management Company India Private Limited, and Lehman Brothers, where they held various HR positions focusing on talent management, leadership development, and HR business partnering.

Aruna Subramanyan holds an MBA degree with a specialization in Human Resources from SPJIMR SP Jain Institute of Management & Research. Aruna is also a Certified Facilitator from Dale Carnegie Training.
