Richard Boehme has extensive experience in the chemical engineering field, currently serving as a Principal Research Associate and Lead Process Engineer at Evonik since January 2017. In this role, Richard leads the scale-up of new processes, products, and technologies at manufacturing facilities, while focusing on process improvements through a combination of chemical engineering principles, Lean Six Sigma methodologies, and advanced computational modeling techniques. Prior to Evonik, Richard worked at Air Products from June 1997 to January 2017, where roles included Lead Process Engineer/Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and Senior Principal Process Engineer, emphasizing process optimization, troubleshooting, and new product introduction. Richard holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, earned between 1982 and 1986.
