Simon Becht has extensive work experience in supply chain management, with significant roles at various companies. Simon currently works for Evonik as the Global Head of Supply Chain Management and Managing Director of JeNaCell GmbH. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of Supply Chain Strategy & Transformation and also served as a Managing Director at JeNaCell GmbH. Simon joined Evonik in 2020 and was responsible for initiating and driving the global transformation of the supply chain functions within the division Nutrition & Care. Before joining Evonik, Simon was Vice President of Supply Chain Operations at Evonik Nutrition & Care GmbH, where they led the design and implementation of a global supply chain transformation program. Simon also served as Vice President of Key Account Management & Sales Strategy. Prior to working at Evonik Nutrition & Care GmbH, Simon held the position of Director of Marketing & Global Account Management at EVONIK RESOURCE EFFICIENCY GMBH and Director of Supply Chain Management at Evonik Industries AG. Simon started their career as a Project Manager at Degussa AG.

Simon Becht completed their Master / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering & Process Technology at RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau from 1995 to 2001. Simon then pursued a Master of Business Administration - MBA in Business Administration and Management, General at Pforzheim University from 2003 to 2006. In 2006 and 2007, Simon undertook General Management Training with a focus on Management Information Systems, General at IMD.
