Ute Schick has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Ute began their career at Evonik in 1998 as a Research Manager and later held roles as a Global Marketing and Sales Manager and Head of Project Marketing and Sales Excellence. In 2006, they joined DSM as the CEO of Pentapharm and Director of New Business Development. Ute later became the Business Director for Arnite & Arnitel and the CEO of Africa Improved Foods (Joint Venture). In 2016, they moved to DuPont Nutrition & Biosciences as the Vice President of BU Texturants & Systems. In 2018, they founded their own company, Dr. Ute Schick Kosmetik, where they served as the General Manager and Owner. Currently, they are back at Evonik, serving as the Senior Vice President of Research, Development, and Innovation at Nutrition Care. Throughout their career, Ute Schick has held various leadership and strategic roles in research, development, innovation, supply chain, and business management.
Ute Schick has a education history in Chemistry. Ute achieved a Vordiplom degree in Chemistry from the University of Tübingen from 1988 to 1990. Following that, they received a Diplom degree in Chemistry at the University of Göttingen from 1990 to 1993. Later, they pursued a PHD degree in Chemistry at CSIC Barcelona from 1994 to 1996 and at the University of Bonn from 1996 to 1998.
