Richard Malloy

Richard Malloy has a strong background in software engineering and development, with over 30 years of experience. Richard currently holds the position of Principal Software Development Engineer at ExaGrid since 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Principal Software Engineer at Nasuni from 2017 to 2022, and at Hitachi Consulting from 2013 to 2017. Richard also served as a Principal Software Engineer at ExaGrid Systems from 2007 to 2013. Before that, Richard worked as a Sr Principal Consultant at ArrAy Inc, where they provided software development services and outsourcing, working with clients such as Juniper Networks and Segue Software/Borland. Richard also held roles as a Principal Software Engineer at eMation and SkillSoft, and as a Consultant at Mercury Computer Systems. Richard's early experience includes positions as a Senior Software Engineer at MSC Software and a Sr Software Engineer at Prime Computer.

Richard Malloy has a diverse education history. In 2022, they attended FourthBrain and earned a degree in Machine Learning Engineering. From 1991 to 1998, Richard pursued a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Richard also holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Northwestern University, which they obtained from 1982 to 1984. Richard's undergraduate education includes a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Colgate University, where they studied from 1976 to 1980. Prior to their higher education, Richard attended Brunswick School from 1970 to 1976. Additionally, Richard furthered their knowledge by obtaining several certifications, including Neural Networks and Deep Learning, Divide and Conquer, Sorting and Searching, and Randomized Algorithms, TensorFlow in Practice Specialization, Machine Learning: Clustering & Retrieval, Machine Learning: Classification, Introduction to Data Science, Data Analysis and Statistical Inference, Deep Learning Specialization, Machine Learning through Coursera, as well as Linear Algebra and Scalable Machine Learning through edX.
