Soumik Jana is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in leadership and engineering roles across various companies. Currently serving as a Software Engineering Manager at ExaThought since November 2019, Soumik has successfully led the refactoring of Malbork, enhancing its stability and speed while optimizing cost efficiency through map service options. Prior to this, Soumik was the CTO at Banbreach, where a secure router was developed with advanced cybersecurity features and firmware engineered on FreeBSD and OpenWrt. As Co-Founder and CTO of WatStory, Soumik handled all engineering aspects, and previously held positions as a Senior Software Engineer QA at Ixia and a Networking Consulting Engineer at Cisco Systems. Soumik holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from the National Institute of Technology Durgapur.
