David Liner is currently the Chief Operating Officer and EVP at Excelerate Energy since September 2021. Prior to this role, David was the Americas Freight Trading Manager and Americas Crude & Feedstocks Manager at SeaRiver Maritime from April 2018 to August 2021. Before that, David served as the Chief Commercial & Planning Officer at Qatar Gas Transport Company Ltd. (Nakilat) from July 2015 to April 2018. With a background in engineering, David has held various managerial and engineering positions at companies such as Exxonmobil Development Company, QatarGas OPCO, Seariver Maritime Inc, BMT Designers & Planners, Inc., and American Bureau of Shipping. David graduated from the Florida Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Ocean Engineering in 1995.
