Norman Salunga

Norman Salunga has worked in the software engineering industry since 2006. Norman began their career at Canon Information Technologies Phils. Inc. as a Software Staff Engineer, where they were involved in Machine Vision, Business Intelligence, Mobile Application, and Cloud Development from 2014 to 2017. From 2012 to 2013, they were a Principal Engineer, where they worked on Firmware Development, Network Communications and Security for Multi-Function Printer Products. From 2008 to 2011, they were an Intra-company Assignee for Canon i-tech Inc. in Japan, where they worked on Firmware Development, Network Communications and Security for Multi-Function Printer Products. From 2006 to 2008, they were a Software Engineer and Senior Engineer, where they worked on Firmware Development, Network Communications and Security for Wireless Interface Products. In 2017, they joined Excelfore Corporation as an Embedded and Network Software Engineer and Systems Engineer.

Norman Salunga obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science from the University of the Philippines, Los Banos between 2002 and 2006. In 2015, they obtained their Fundamental Information Technology Engineers (FE) Certification from the Philippine National I.T. Standards (PhilNITS) Foundation, formerly Japanese I.T. Standards Exams of the Philippines (JITSE-Phil). Additionally, they hold a N5 Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT).
