Jun Chen

Jun Chen is a Senior Scientist at Exelixis since May 2023, bringing extensive experience in the field of organic chemistry. Previously, Jun held the position of UCSF-Merck Postdoc at Merck from August 2021 to May 2023 and worked as a postdoctoral scholar at the University of California, San Francisco, from February 2020 to May 2023. Jun's professional background also includes a role as a Chemist at BC Research Inc. from December 2017 to February 2020 and serving as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Victoria from September 2013 to May 2018. A research internship at Firmenich focused on novel perfume ingredients development from April to August 2013 further enhanced Jun's expertise. Jun Chen earned a Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) in Organic Chemistry from Queen's University Belfast from 2011 to 2013 and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Organic Chemistry from East China University of Science and Technology from 2007 to 2011, following earlier education at Weiyu High School.
