Rucha Kelekar

Rucha Kelekar currently holds the position of Scientist III in Biologics Drug Product Development at Exelixis since December 2024. Prior to this role, Rucha worked as a Formulation Scientist at Nivagen Pharmaceuticals, Inc. from June 2021 to December 2024 and completed a Research and Development internship at Cipla in 2020. Rucha has expertise in analytical instruments, including SE-HPLC, RP-HPLC, and UV-VIS, as well as familiarity with software such as EMPOWER and TIAMO. A strong understanding of cGMP requirements, safety protocols, and standard operating procedures is maintained. Rucha's earlier experience includes a research internship at Ajanta Pharma Ltd, where assistance was provided in the formulation of Delayed Release tablets. Academically, Rucha is pursuing a Master's in Pharmaceutical Science with a focus on Industrial Pharmacy at Long Island University, following a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from Dr. Bhanuben Nanavati College of Pharmacy.
