Shelley Starck

Shelley Starck is an accomplished biotherapeutics leader with extensive experience in drug discovery and development, particularly in the fields of oncology and immunology. Currently serving as Associate Biotherapeutics Director at Exelixis, Shelley previously held the position of Associate Director and Immuno-oncology Program Lead at Electra Therapeutics, where initiatives focused on myeloid checkpoint activity and anti-tumor immunity were spearheaded. Prior roles include Principal Scientist at NGM Biopharmaceuticals, leading research programs in oncology and ophthalmology, and postdoctoral positions at renowned institutions such as UCSF and UC Berkeley, where significant advancements in cell biology and immunology were made. Shelley holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry with a specialization in Biochemistry from the California Institute of Technology and has authored provisional patents related to antibody design and immuno-oncology targets.
