Richard Mendicino

Vice President / Regional Manager - Ohio / Tennessee Valley Region at Exertis Almo

Richard Mendicino has extensive experience in sales and management roles in the consumer appliances and electronics industry. Richard started their career with Maytag Corporation in 2001, where they served as a Regional Manager for Extended Service Policies and later as a National Account Manager for ESP's. In these roles, they focused on promoting Maytag's ESP program to dealers and introducing innovative programs to builders.

In 2002, Mendicino joined Goodman Manufacturing as a Regional Manager, responsible for developing distributors in the Northeast Division and implementing market share accountability. Richard then moved on to Almo Corporation as a Territory Account Manager, where they worked from 2010 to 2011.

Mendicino also worked at W.C. Wood Corporation, Inc. as the Director of Sales from 2008 to 2009. In this role, they hired, trained, and developed a national sales team and focused on developing profitable sales channels. Richard also played a key role in restructuring the company during fiscal year 2009.

From 2003 to 2008, Mendicino worked at Electrolux Home Products as a Field Sales Manager, responsible for the strategic distribution of Electrolux and Frigidaire home appliances through the independent dealer channel. During this time, they managed a team of district managers and implemented a profitable sales plan.

Mendicino also had a brief stint at Whirlpool Corporation as an OEM for Whirlpool Freezers in 2008.

In their most recent role, Mendicino served as the Vice President/Regional Manager for the Ohio/Tennessee Valley Region at ALMO Corporation. Richard focused on developing the region through an independent dealer channel, implementing sales and marketing strategies, managing inventory in multiple product categories, and driving new customers into dealers' stores.

Overall, Mendicino has a strong background in sales, management, and strategic distribution in the consumer appliances and electronics industry.

Richard Mendicino attended Fairview High School from 1975 to 1979. After completing high school, they went on to pursue their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Communication & Education at The Ohio State University from 1979 to 1984.
