Laura Smedley

Laura Smedley has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Laura currently works at Exeter College as the Adult Learning and Higher Education Advice Lead and previously worked as a PA to the SLT Team. Before that, Laura served as the PALS and Complaints Officer at Musgrove Park Hospital. Laura also held various positions at Bridgwater & Taunton College, including HE Administrator in the HE Quality Team and Curriculum Area Administrator. Prior to that, Laura was the Quality Assurance Co-ordinator at Contact Associates Ltd and the Qualification Advisor at ABC Awards. Laura has also worked as a Personal Assistant to the Customer Services Director at Clerical Medical, to the Director of UK Consulting Services at J.D. Edwards, and to the OSD Director at HP UK. Laura began their career as an Executive Secretary at PRICEWATERHOUSE COOPERS, S.C. and later served as a Group Secretary at Ernst & Young J&M Management Consulting GmbH. Overall, Laura Smedley has gained a wealth of experience in administrative and advisory roles across different sectors.

Laura Smedley's education history starts in 1986 when they attended UWC South East Asia for their secondary education. Laura then went on to Luckley House School from 1990 to 1993, where they pursued their GCSE. Following this, in 1993, they attended Burchettes Green, Berkshire College of Agriculture, focusing on animal care for both large and small animals. From 1994 to 1996, they studied at Reading College of Arts and Technology, obtaining an NVQ 3 in Secretarial Services and an English A Level.
