Philippe Morin is the CEO and Director at EXFO. Philippe was previously the Senior Vice-President, Global Field Organisation at Ciena from March 2010 to November 2015.

As a member of the Executive Leadership team at Ciena, Philippe was accountable for Worldwide Sales and developing and executing on the company’s Go-To-Market strategies. Philippe also owned the Global Customer Service organization which was responsible for all services delivered to customers, providing world-class technical support and customer experience.

Under Philippe’s leadership, the global sales and field operations team grew to 1,500 staff in 30+ countries. The team delivered over $2.3B of Revenues in 2014, representing a 10% growth while delivering Operating Margins of $6.5%.

Some of Philippe’s key initiatives include transforming Ciena’s go-to-market strategy by leveraging direct sales, stronger channel partners for geographic and vertical market coverage, and developing new strategic alliances. Philippe also developed and executed Ciena’s long-term strategic and annual plans for its’ Global Sales and Services organization.

Philippe Morin has a Master in Business and Administration from McGill University and an Electrical Engineering degree from Université Laval.
