Brett Hames

Brett Hames is a seasoned professional in the field of financial crime and risk management with extensive experience in advisory roles across prominent financial institutions. Currently serving as the EMEA FCC Advisory Lead at Capgemini since October 2023 and as Managing Director at Exiger since September 2018, Brett oversees KYC remediations and key client relationships on a regional and global scale. Previously, Brett held various leadership positions at Deutsche Bank, including Managing Director and Global Head of the Business & Client Intelligence Unit, where responsibilities included advising on high-risk clients and M&A transactions. Prior experience also includes a role as Global Head of Fraud Risk at HSBC Private Bank and positions with own management consultancy and Control Risks. Brett earned a BA Hons. in Modern European Languages from Durham University.
