Peter Hofmann

Peter Hofmann is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in corporate development, mergers and acquisitions, and finance. Currently serving as Vice President of Corporate Development (M&A) and Strategy at Expedia Group since September 2022, Peter previously held senior roles at Backbase, where leadership included M&A and corporate finance, and at Booking.com, overseeing a dedicated team in corporate development. Earlier experience encompasses investment banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and financial roles at Aeris Communications, CellNet Data Systems, and IBM. Peter holds an MBA in Finance, Economics, Accounting, and Entrepreneurship from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Managerial Economics (Honors) from the University of California, Davis. Additionally, Peter has a background as a motorcycle racer, competing in professional and semi-professional championships.
