Carlos Lemagne currently serves as the Convention Marketing and Editorial Manager at Experience Grand Rapids, a position held since April 2024. Prior positions include Project Coordinator at the Calvin Institute of Christian Worship from June 2018 to March 2024, where responsibilities encompassed project management and problem-solving, and program coordination roles at Calvin University from August 2021 to March 2024 and at the same institute prior. Carlos also gained experience as a Marketing/Analytics Intern at Lucas Howard Group | Keller Williams in late 2020 and as an Operations Intern at Guardian Music and Group Travel in the summer of 2020. Educational accomplishments include a Master of Arts in Communication and Media Studies, currently in progress at Calvin University, and a Bachelor's degree in Business/Marketing & Music, received from the same institution in May 2021.

It means that we inspire tourism and conventions through short-term promotions, long-term marketing and sales strategies, and a focus on community developments that will impact the visitor experience. WHAT ARE WE: Experience Grand Rapids is the destination marketing organization (DMO) for Grand Rapids/Kent County, Michigan. We are the only community resource devoted to marketing the destination by raising visitor awareness of the region’s brand characteristics of craft beer, music, family fun, outdoor recreation, art and culture and food. We care deeply about the impression we make on the people who come here. And we are constantly innovating new and creative ways to make the Grand Rapids experience even better.
