Julia Sackett

Director Of Visitor Experience | She·her·hers at Explora Science Center and Children's Museum

Julia Sackett is the current Director of Visitor Experience at Explora Science Center and Children's Museum since May 2023. Prior to this, she worked as the Education and Public Programs Manager at the Center for Contemporary Arts Santa Fe from June 2019 to June 2020. Julia also has experience as a School and Family Programs Associate at the Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive from January 2016 to May 2019. Her background includes roles such as an Instructor at ASUC Student Union, Museum Educator at The Contemporary Jewish Museum, Studio Artist at Root Division, Teaching Artist at The Imagine Bus Project, and Intern at Paulson Fontaine Press. Julia holds a Master of Fine Arts in Printmaking from San Francisco Art Institute and a Bachelor of Arts in American History from Hampshire College.
