Kai B.

Kai B. is a seasoned software engineer currently working at Omni since November 2024. Previously, Kai held the position of founding engineer at Pocus from March 2022 to October 2024 and worked at Google as a software engineer from December 2019 to March 2022. Before joining Google, Kai was a software engineer at Looker from May 2017 until its acquisition by Google Cloud in March 2022. Early experience includes a software engineering internship at Square in 2016, mobile development at Simply Hired from 2015 to 2016, web development at PlayyOn in 2014, and leadership as principal trumpet in the California Youth Symphony from 2011 to 2014. Kai began a teaching assistant role at MakeGamesWithUs in 2013, facilitating the learning of interns while developing an iOS game. Educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Washington University in St. Louis, earned in May 2018, following a high school education at Menlo School.
