Carmela Powell

Carmela Powell has extensive experience in education, primarily as a substitute teacher for grades 5 through 12 at both Express Employment Professionals and Amphitheater Public Schools since 2013 and 2015, respectively. Additional experience includes teaching as a certified substitute teacher at Flowing Wells School District in 2014, as well as roles in caregiving and tutoring. Carmela also owned a custom cleaning business from 1998 to 2012 and worked as a piano instructor. Volunteer work includes providing comfort to newborn infants in the ICU at Tucson Medical Center. Carmela's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from Montclair State University, alongside recent certifications in Microsoft Excel and Digital Marketing from Goodwill.
