Ryan Jutila began their professional career in 2010 as a Maintenance employee at River Ridge Resort. In 2014, they joined Pridgeon & Clay, where they started as a Mechatronics Engineer Intern and later transitioned into the role of Specialty Products Process Engineer. In this position, they collaborated with Product Launch Engineers to develop products that meet design and quality requirements. Ryan also programmed Fanuc robots with integrated IPG laser sources for new product weld development and provided support during machinery installation, troubleshooting, capability runs, and production. Ryan joined Extol, Inc. in 2021 as a Mechanical Design Engineer and was promoted to Lead Mechanical Design Engineer in April 2023. No end dates are provided for their roles at Extol, Inc.

Ryan Jutila received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ferris State University from 2013 to 2016. Prior to that, they were a Dual Enrollment Student at Ferris State University from 2010 to 2012. In 2012, Ryan briefly studied Flight Science at Western Michigan University. Ryan completed their college preparation at Morley Stanwood Community Schools from 1999 to 2012. Additionally, they have obtained certifications as a Certified Laser Safety Officer (CLSO) from the Laser Institute of America in 2019 and in Handling Tool Operation and Programming from FANUC America Corporation in 2017.
