Dumisani Mhlongo is an experienced mechanical fitter and boiler maker currently employed at Extrupet Pty LTD since March 2020, where responsibilities include plant mechanical maintenance and steel fabrication. Prior to this role, Dumisani worked as a mechanical fitter at Brands Unplugged from February 2019 to February 2020, specializing in SMAW welding and carpentry. Dumisani also served as a welding workshop foreman at AG Form Work & Scaffolding from January 2005 to December 2010, overseeing team coordination in SMAW and GMAW industrial welding. Educational qualifications include a National Certificate in Mechanical Engineering and N1-N3 in Mechanical Fitting and Machining from Taalnet College, along with specialized training in mechanical fitting and multi-skilled welding from Ekurhuleni Artisan and Skills Training Center and Thandabantu Skills Training Center, respectively.
