Dr. Harriet L.

Dr. Harriet L. is the Founder and CEO of Konesens Development, a consultancy established in 2005 that focuses on research, training, and capacity building to promote environmental sustainability and social cohesion. Currently serving as a Strategic Advisor for TheJembe and a Strategy and Research Advisor for Eyes4Research, Dr. Harriet also holds the position of Honorary Consul General for the Republic of Cabo Verde in Illinois, where support is provided to Cape Verdean nationals and tourism and trade are promoted. Additionally, Dr. Harriet serves as an Advisor and Special Representative to the United Nations for the Centre for Faith and Community Development and previously acted as a Senior Advisor for the Inner-city Muslim Action Network. Dr. Harriet's educational background includes a PhD in Social Policy Analysis and Planning from Walden University, various certificates from prominent institutions, and a Master’s in Public Administration and a Bachelor’s in Communications from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
