Mark Sherrill

Mark Sherrill has extensive experience in product design, UX, and research. Mark is currently the VP of Product Design at ezCater and has held various leadership roles throughout their career. Mark has served as a strategic advisor for product design, UX, and research, working as a consultant and advisor. Mark has also worked as a design and research career coach, mentoring and guiding professionals in the field. Mark has held leadership positions at companies such as Vimeo, where they were the VP of UX & Design, and Blink Health, where they were the VP of Product Design. Mark has also worked at Shutterstock as the Head of UX & Design and Director of UX & Design, leading global design and research teams and driving product innovation. In addition, Mark has experience as a guest lecturer and speaker at the School of Visual Arts and has contributed as a design mentor and career coach for adplist.org. Mark Sherrill holds an M.F.A. in Illustration & Design as Visual Essay from the School of Visual Arts, which they completed from 1994 to 1996. In 2022, they participated in a program called Second Wave Dive, focusing on Design Org Strategy. From 2009 to 2013, Mark attended Silicon Valley Product Group Workshops with Marty Cagan, where they studied Product Management & Discovery Process. In 2012, they completed the Interaction Design Practicum at Cooper U with Alan Cooper, emphasizing User Experience, Interaction Design, and Personas. Mark obtained their B.F.A. in Design & Illustration from Western Carolina University from 1989 to 1994.
