Art Freas

Art Freas is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in enterprise architecture and information management. Currently serving as a Senior Enterprise Architect at F5 since November 2019, Art focuses on establishing information architecture within the Enterprise Architecture group. Additionally, Art contributes to West Chester University of Pennsylvania as a member of the Computer Science Industrial Advisory Board. As a co-owner of Art By Fire LTD, Art creates blown and sculptural artworks. Prior experience includes roles as Managing Principal Architect at Starbucks, where Art managed the Enterprise Information Architecture Group, and Director of Enterprise IT Architecture at Microsoft, leading initiatives in data strategy and governance. Art also held significant positions at Freddie Mac as Architecture Director and Lockheed Martin as a Senior Staff Systems Integration Engineer. With a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from West Chester University and a Master's Certificate in Project Management from The George Washington University, Art combines technical expertise with strategic insight in data management and architecture.
