Jonas Meier has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Jonas began their career as a Production Management Assistant at Brightwater Engineering, where they were responsible for tender calculations, design, and management of engineering projects. Jonas then worked as a Research Engineer at Callaghan Innovation, focusing on the R&D of cryogenic refrigerators. After that, they joined Fabrum Solutions Limited as an Engineer, contributing to the development and commercialization of cryocoolers. With the expansion of the cryogenic team, Jonas took on technical leadership responsibilities. Currently, they are the Head of R&D - Cryo at FABRUM., leading the Research and Development team for Cryogenic Technologies. Jonas'srole involves implementing strategies for innovation, system optimization, and enhancing overall performance to bolster Fabrum's global competitive advantage.
Jonas Meier attended Waimea College from 2003 to 2006 but did not obtain a degree or specialize in any field of study. Jonas then pursued a Bachelor of Engineering with Honors in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Canterbury from 2007 to 2010, making first class honors.
