Denise Marcano is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in health education and prevention. As the College Health Education Coordinator at Fact Forward since February 2018, and serving as the Statewide Capacity Building Specialist at the South Carolina Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy since March 2016, Denise has focused on enhancing health outcomes for youth. Prior experience includes serving as an HIV Prevention Specialist at Affinity Health Center, formerly known as Catawba Care Coalition, from July 2007 to March 2016. Denise holds a degree from Marymount Manhattan College, obtained between 1994 and 1997.

Today, we are nationally recognized as a thought leader and innovator among teen pregnancy prevention organizations. The mission of Fact Forward is to improve the health and economic well-being of individuals, communities, and the state of South Carolina and beyond by preventing teen pregnancy and advancing adolescent reproductive health. To achieve its mission, Fact Forward works with a variety of programs - public, private, school and community-based - in all regions of the state.
