Katrina C. James, MPH, CHES, FPHW, is a dedicated public health professional with extensive experience in health education and program coordination. Currently serving as Capacity Building Manager at Fact Forward since June 2019, Katrina has previously held various roles, including Health Services Coordinator and Health Services Specialist. Prior experience includes positions at Family Health Centers, Inc., where responsibilities ranged from coordinating the School-Based Telemedicine Program to managing the Healthy Outcomes Program. Katrina's earlier career involved roles as a Clinical Research Assistant at Eau Claire Cooperative Health Center and a Teen Health Educator at Family Outreach of Horry County. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Public Health from Georgia Southern University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Promotion from Coastal Carolina University.

Today, we are nationally recognized as a thought leader and innovator among teen pregnancy prevention organizations. The mission of Fact Forward is to improve the health and economic well-being of individuals, communities, and the state of South Carolina and beyond by preventing teen pregnancy and advancing adolescent reproductive health. To achieve its mission, Fact Forward works with a variety of programs - public, private, school and community-based - in all regions of the state.
