David Walton has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. David currently works as a Specialist Software Engineer at Transamerica since February 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Faction as a Lead Software Engineer and Software Architect from July 2019 to January 2020. Before their time at Faction, they had a long tenure at Mapleton Hill as a Senior Developer from September 2009 to July 2019. David also worked at AppVenture, Inc. as a Developer from September 2009 to May 2010, where they developed solutions using .NET and worked on internal web applications.
David Walton attended Lithonia High School from 1992 to 1996. David then went on to study Jazz Guitar Performance at Winthrop University from 1997 to 1999. David later pursued Philosophy and Classics at the University of Colorado Boulder from 2005 to 2008.
