George Agelakis is an accomplished procurement professional with extensive experience in packaging materials management. Currently serving as a Senior Category Procurement Manager at FAMAR since August 2011, George leads teams and stakeholders in executing group sourcing strategies, managing supplier networks, and overseeing packaging budgets and reports. Previously, George held roles such as Corporate Lead Buyer for multiple European markets and Senior Buyer at Creta Farms, focusing on packaging strategies within the FMCG sector. With prior experience in logistics and inventory planning at CATERWAYS and Gregory's Food Service Group S.A., as well as educational programme coordination at the LE MONDE Institute, George holds an MSc in Engineering Business Management from the University of Warwick and a BA in International & European Economic Studies from Panteion University.
