Norm Paxton

Norm Paxton is an experienced technology professional currently serving as the Technical Lead and Engineering Manager for the Records Data Team at FamilySearch since December 2013. Prior to this role, Norm held various senior software engineering positions at notable companies including Novell, Inc., Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, NetVision, Inc., and IBM, where responsibilities included developing cloud service solutions, web-based identity management systems, and distributed applications. Norm's technical expertise encompasses server-side development in Java, OSGI-based services, and the use of JMS, among other technologies. Norm holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Brigham Young University.
