Sean Kerman is an experienced architect of machine learning and artificial intelligence at FamilySearch, specializing in innovative AI projects, including the development of a large language model for extracting genealogical information from historical records. Previously, at Owlet Baby Care, Kerman served as the Director of AI and Machine Learning, leading the creation of advanced pulse oximetry algorithms that significantly improved monitoring capabilities. Kerman also held positions as Principal AI/ML Engineer and Acting Vice President of Clinical and Regulatory Affairs at Owlet, contributing to the successful development and validation of monitoring technologies.
