Mikalai Ziuz

Mikalai Ziuz is a seasoned software engineer currently serving as a Staff Platform Engineer at Fanfix since July 2023, focusing on backend systems operation and development. With a strong background in technical design, architectural planning, and software development lifecycle enhancements, Mikalai has also contributed to mentoring and onboarding new engineers. Previous experience includes a role as a Senior Platform Engineer at Fanfix, where Mikalai pioneered a test-driven development culture and influenced platform architectural development. Prior to that, Mikalai worked at Walmart Global Tech, managing the architectural practices for Walmart Pay, and held technical leadership roles at Kroger Technology & Digital, where a significant project involved developing a React-powered progressive web application. Mikalai's earlier career included positions at Kreo Software Ltd and Itransition Group, demonstrating a solid foundation in both backend and ecommerce web application development. Mikalai holds a Master of Science degree in Computer and Information Sciences from the Belarusian National Technical University.
