Jerrold Quek has served as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Far Ocean Singapore since 2021, bringing a fresh perspective and innovative strategies to the company’s operations. As the son of Henry Quek, Far Ocean’s long-serving CEO, Jerrold is the second generation in the Quek family to play a pivotal role in the company's leadership.
Jerrold holds a degree from the prestigious University of Dublin, where he developed a strong foundation in business management and operations. His academic background is further complemented by his certification as a Black Belt in Six Sigma, demonstrating his expertise in process improvement and operational efficiency. This unique combination of education and skill set has empowered Jerrold to drive significant advancements in Far Ocean’s operational capabilities.
Since taking on the role of COO, Jerrold has been instrumental in steering Far Ocean into the digital age. Under his leadership, the company launched fully integrated online grocery platforms for both B2B and B2C markets. These platforms, www.farocean.online and www.taste.sg, have significantly enhanced Far Ocean’s ability to serve its customers, ensuring that the company remains competitive in a rapidly evolving market.
