Ilyasuddin Syed

Ilyasuddin Syed is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in vehicle safety and crash simulations. Currently serving as the Functional Leader for Vehicle Engineering Simulations at Nikola Corporation since September 2024, Ilyasuddin has held significant roles at Faraday Future since August 2015, including Manager of Digital Product Development & Vehicle Safety and Lead CAE Simulations Engineer. Previous expertise includes positions at IAC Group as a Senior Engineer and Chrysler LLC as a Senior Engineer in Vehicle Safety & Crashworthiness. Ilyasuddin began a career in product design engineering at Visteon Corporation and Lear Corporation. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Wichita State University and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Osmania University.
