Michael Schmid is the Director and Assistant Treasurer at Farmer Mac. Prior to joining Farmer Mac, Michael was with PricewaterhouseCoopers in their Financial Instruments & Credit Group from July 2007 to March 2010. There, they were responsible for cashflow modeling for MBS and ABS transactions, with experience in credit card ABS, Auto ABS, private label MBS and Agency REMIC CMO programs. Michael also did preclosing offering document review, collateral analysis and payment water fall modeling. Michael's experience also extends to Reg AB support and valuation of whole loan portfolios and illiquid investments from their time at Freddie Mac from May 2006 to August 2006 in their Investments and Capital Markets group.

Michael Schmid has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Georgetown University and a Bachelor's Degree in Finance & Management from Virginia Tech - Pamplin College of Business.
