Paul Parker

Paul Parker is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in the insurance and financial sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at Farmers Insurance since July 2016, Paul has developed advanced models utilizing both structured and unstructured data to predict weather-related claims, litigation, and fraud. Previously, as a Senior Financial Analyst at Amerihome Mortgage, Paul created trading optimization algorithms that improved loan bidding processes. During a tenure at Bank of America as Vice President, Paul focused on modeling loan fallouts and portfolio losses. Earlier roles included Senior Data Scientist and Technical Product Manager at Authenticlick, Lead Developer/System Architect at Junction Solutions, and System Architect at Option One Mortgage, where Paul made significant contributions to modeling and application development. Paul holds a Ph.D. in Geophysics and Seismology from the University of California, Berkeley, as well as a B.Sc. in Physics from California State University, Fresno.
