Steven Asamoto

Steven Asamoto is an accomplished IT auditor with extensive experience in Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and IT security. Currently serving as a Senior IT Auditor at Farmers Insurance since May 2020, responsibilities include conducting compliance walkthroughs and testing for IT general controls. Prior roles include Senior IT Auditor at J2 Global, where Steven specialized in Sarbanes-Oxley and GDPR compliance, and IT SOX Analyst at MUFG Union Bank, managing the testing of SOX IT general and automated controls. Steven has developed IT risk/control matrices for internal audits at SUPERVALU and created application security guidelines during tenure at Tata Consultancy Services. Previous engagements include leadership positions at CNM LLP and BDO USA, as well as significant roles at Sony Corporation and Deloitte & Touche.
