Alberto Carvalho is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in quality management and auditing. Since February 1998, Alberto has served as the Quality Coordinator for the inspection team on the extension of the Linha Amarela of the Metro do Porto at FASE - Estudos e Projectos S.A. Additionally, since April 2007, Alberto has worked as an Auditor for APCER. Alberto's educational background includes a Licentiate degree in Quality Management and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto, along with a specialization in environmental engineering from Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto and a technical degree from Cenatex. Alberto has furthered qualifications in first aid and basic life support through courses at Cruz Vermelha Portuguesa.

Following a strategy of expansion and diversification of markets, FASE has started in 2005 an internationalization process in Angola, having afterwards created a new company, FaseIIAngola, in 2011. It also assures its presence in Macao, since 2006, through Fase Ásia, in Mozambique with Fase Indico, since 2010, and in Brazil with FASE Consultoria e Projetos, after 2011. In 2012, FASE established a branch in Cape Verde, and more recently in 2018 a branch in Timor. FASE keeps also partnerships and a permanent commercial presence in several markets such as Spain, Algeria, Libya, Romania and Bulgaria
