Shannon Maher serves as the Dean of the Jay and Patty Baker School of Business and Technology at the Fashion Institute of Technology since August 2013, alongside roles as Chairperson and Assistant Professor in Home Products Development. Prior to this, Shannon held several positions at Hanover Direct, Inc., including Senior Vice President of Product Development and Sourcing, where tenure lasted from May 2007 to August 2013. Shannon's experience also includes work as Product Development Manager at CHF Industries and Senior Sourcing Manager at Dan River Inc. Early career development involved merchandising for furniture and textiles at French Country Living from 2001 to 2003. Educational qualifications consist of a Master’s Degree in Integrated Marketing Communication from Marist College, a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Merchandising from Marymount University, and additional studies at Cornell University and Harvard University.
