Mehtap Demir

Mehtap Demir is currently the Managing Editor at Fast Company, leading editorial content focused on innovation, technology, and creative leadership since January 2020. In addition, Mehtap serves as a Board Member at the Boğaziçi University Social Media Lab and has been a Radio Host at Karnaval Media Group since July 2015. Previous experience includes contributing to Deutsche Welle Turkish from October 2020 to September 2022, editing for Harvard Business Review from July 2016 to June 2019, and holding corporate communication roles at Tekfen Holding and teamgnesda International. Mehtap began a career in event management at Boğaziçi University while pursuing a Bachelor's degree there from January 2010 to June 2015, and also participated in the International Journalists Programme in Germany on a full scholarship.
