Matt Byerly

Matt Byerly is an experienced network engineering professional with extensive expertise in designing and managing complex network systems. Currently serving as a Principal Network Engineer at Fastly since June 2014, Matt has held multiple roles including Edge Systems Engineer, Manager of Network Engineering, Network Engineer, and Operations Engineer. Prior to Fastly, Matt worked at Zynga from October 2009 to June 2014 as a Network Engineer, focusing on the architecture and operation of Zynga's load balancing edge. Additional experience includes a brief position as a Linux System Administrator at Hawaiian Telcom and as a Network Engineer at MegaPath Inc., where Matt was responsible for architecting and implementing remote SSL VPN access solutions.
