Jan Kallestrup

Jan Kallestrup is an experienced leader with a robust background in municipal governance and administration. Currently a member of the steering group for "Better Welfare and Management with Data" at Kommunernes Landsforening since September 2021, Kallestrup has also been a member of the steering group for Strategic Urban Management at Kommunaldirektørforeningen since January 2017. Kallestrup has a long-standing role as a director, starting from Favrskov Kommune in February 2006 and previously serving as municipal director in Aulum-Haderup Kommune and director in Nordborg Kommune. Kallestrup has contributed to the training of new municipal council members by instructing national "Kattegat" courses since 2010. Kallestrup’s educational background includes a degree in Cand. Merc. with a focus on organization and marketing from Aarhus University.
