David Schmeltzer

David Schmeltzer, CPA, currently serves as the Assistant Corporate Controller at Fay Financial since November 2020. Prior to this role, David held the position of Accounting Manager at John Crane, Inc. from August 2019 to November 2020. David’s extensive experience includes over 13 years at MB Financial Bank, where roles included Vice President and Accounting Manager, Assistant Vice President and Accounting Manager, and Accounting Officer. Earlier in David's career, experience as Assistant Controller at LaSalle Systems and Senior Assurance Associate at PriceWaterhouseCoopers contributed to a solid foundation in accounting and finance. David holds a BBA in Accounting from The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business and an MBA in Finance from Roosevelt University.
