Elisabeth Lundgren has extensive experience in leadership roles within human rights organizations, currently serving as Verksamhetschef internationella verksamheten at Kristna Fredsrörelsen since March 2022. Elisabeth's career includes significant positions at Amnesty International Sweden and Amnesty International, where responsibilities encompassed policy development, political advocacy, and managing various organizational changes and projects. Previous roles involved overseeing operations at Latinamerikagrupperna/Solidaridad Suecia-America Latina, contributing to human rights initiatives in Latin America, and participating in electoral observation missions through FBA. Elisabeth holds a Magisterexamen in Humanities/Social Sciences from Stockholm University and completed a Minor Field Study at Karolinska Institutet in South Africa.

FBA (Folke Bernadotte Academy)
The Folke Bernadotte Academy (FBA) is the Swedish government agency for peace, security and development. FBA supports international peace operations and international development cooperation. The agency conducts training, research and method development in order to strengthen peacebuilding and statebuilding in conflict and post-conflict countries. We also recruit civilian personnel and expertise for peace operations and election observation missions led by the EU, UN and OSCE. The agency is named after Count Folke Bernadotte, the first UN mediator. Here on Linkedin we share the latest news from our activities.
