Helena Rydell is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in international human resources, particularly in the non-profit sector. Since January 2015, Helena has served as a Senior International Deployment Officer at FBA (Folke Bernadotteakademin), following a tenure at the Swedish Red Cross from August 2010 to January 2015 as an HR Advisor for International Assignments. Helena has also held various roles at the Swedish Red Cross, including HR Officer for International Assignments and Regional Administrator in the International Department, as well as positions with the ICRC, European Commission, and the Embassy of Sweden. Helena's educational credentials include a diploma as a coach from Coach Companion of Scandinavia AB in 2019 and extensive studies at Stockholm University and Eductus.

FBA (Folke Bernadotte Academy)
The Folke Bernadotte Academy (FBA) is the Swedish government agency for peace, security and development. FBA supports international peace operations and international development cooperation. The agency conducts training, research and method development in order to strengthen peacebuilding and statebuilding in conflict and post-conflict countries. We also recruit civilian personnel and expertise for peace operations and election observation missions led by the EU, UN and OSCE. The agency is named after Count Folke Bernadotte, the first UN mediator. Here on Linkedin we share the latest news from our activities.
