Sara-Sofia Agnemo

Sara-Sofia Agnemo is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in various governmental and non-governmental organizations. Currently serving as a Processledare at Polismyndigheten since January 2022, Sara-Sofia has also held significant roles, including Valobservatör at FBA since January 2012, and Ämnessakkunnig at Regeringskansliet, Utrikesdepartementet from September 2017 to January 2022. Prior experience includes positions at Migrationsverket as a Processledare, Handläggare, and Processanalytiker, and serving as Andre ambassadsekreterare at Sweden's embassy in Pretoria. Earlier roles include work as an Organisationsutvecklare with Afrikagrupperna and a customer service Handläggare at Försäkringskassan. Sara-Sofia holds a Magister degree in International Community Development with a focus on Political Science from Linnaeus University and has participated in educational programs at Universidad Iberoamericana and The Manchester Metropolitan University.

FBA (Folke Bernadotte Academy)

The Folke Bernadotte Academy (FBA) is the Swedish government agency for peace, security and development. FBA supports international peace operations and international development cooperation. The agency conducts training, research and method development in order to strengthen peacebuilding and statebuilding in conflict and post-conflict countries. We also recruit civilian personnel and expertise for peace operations and election observation missions led by the EU, UN and OSCE.
