Katie Hughes (MA, PMP, CIMP, CDMC) serves as the Data Governance Manager at Farm Bureau Insurance of Michigan, where the focus is on creating and executing a comprehensive Data Governance framework through cross-functional collaboration. Previously, Katie held the position of Data Governance Practice Manager at Resultant, leading a team and overseeing various initiatives, including data maturity assessments and AI/ML training for executives in the biotech sector. With extensive experience at the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute, Katie managed multiple roles, from Assistant Director of Data Management to Program Manager, contributing to significant projects and establishing data governance programs. Additional roles in organizations such as the U.S. Department of Justice and the American Red Cross enhanced Katie’s expertise in program management, research, and stakeholder engagement. Katie holds a BA in Political Science and Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and an MA in Criminology, Law, and Society from George Mason University.
